Plant Sale: September 13, 10am – 1pm

We will have a sale on Saturday, September 13, 10am to 1pm. We have a variety of perennials and shrubs for sun or shade including monkeyflower, yarrow, ceanothus, asters, buckwheat, soft rush, wallflower, native strawberries, island alum root, wax myrtle, bee’s bliss sage, golden-eyed grass, and more. We also have succulents, cymbidium orchids and other ornamental plants.

We are an all-volunteer, non-profit garden club celebrating our 88th year! Our plant sales help us maintain the historic Casa de Flores (built in 1929 as the original Saint Charles Church) and fulfill our club goals of “stimulating the knowledge and love of gardening” and “aiding in the protection of native trees, plants and birds.”

Location: Casa de Flores at 737 Walnut Street in San Carlos.

California Fuchsia, San Carlos Native Plant Habitat Garden
Soft Rush (Juncus effusus) is a graceful addition to a moist area and can be a wonderful upright element in a large container.
