We will have a sale on Saturday, December 6, 10am to 1pm.
Fall is the best time to plant many varieties, especially California native plants. Take advantage of the sunny, cool weather to buy and plant your natives now.
Toyon shrubs are festive this time of year with bright red berries beloved by birds. We have those plus a variety of perennials, shrubs and grasses for sun or shade including California fuchsia, sages, monkeyflower, yarrow, ceanothus, buckwheat, soft rush, wallflower, native strawberries, wax myrtle, golden-eyed grass, and more. We have succulents and other ornamental plants. Many of our native plants are as low as $7 (4″ pots) or $10-12 (1 gallon size).
We are an all-volunteer, non-profit garden club celebrating our 88th year! Our plant sales help us maintain the historic Casa de Flores (built in 1929 as the original Saint Charles Church) and fulfill our club goals of “stimulating the knowledge and love of gardening” and “aiding in the protection of native trees, plants and birds.”
Location: Casa de Flores at 737 Walnut Street in San Carlos.
