We will have a sale on Saturday, February 28, 10am to 1pm.
The rains have finally returned, and warmer days are coming. It’s just the kind of weather that gives native plants a strong start as spring approaches.
We have a variety of perennials, shrubs and grasses for sun or shade including Emerald Carpet Manzanita, Yankee Point ceanothus, California fuchsia, sages, monkeyflower, yarrow, buckwheat, soft rush, wallflower, native strawberries, wax myrtle, leafy reed grass, and more. We have succulents and other ornamental plants. Many of our native plants are as low as $7 (4″ pots) or $10-12 (1 gallon size).
We are an all-volunteer, non-profit garden club celebrating our 88th year! Our plant sales help us maintain the historic Casa de Flores (built in 1929 as the original Saint Charles Church) and fulfill our club goals of “stimulating the knowledge and love of gardening” and “aiding in the protection of native trees, plants and birds.”
Location: Casa de Flores at 737 Walnut Street in San Carlos.
